Today, I went through my blog drafts and found this little puppy sitting pretty, waiting for me to hit the publish button. This is a post that I started constructing in 2021, never realizing that this would be something that I would be subjected to several months later. I think this blog mentally surfaced after experiencing loss and social isolation.
Anyhow, the blog goes something like this:
Crying is a process of shedding tears.
Crying is a process of showing your emotions.
Weeping is a process of displaying hurt.
Crying is a process of exuding vulnerability.
Crying is a process of expressing despair and anger.
Weeping is a method of exhibiting disappointment.
Crying is also a method of displaying happiness, joyfulness, and excitement.
Crying is a process of inside-out healing.
Crying is a process of releasing much-needed endorphins that make you feel good, generate a sign of relief, and help reduce pain.
Crying can reduce stress and anxiety levels.
Crying is a curing method for anxiety and panic attacks.
The chemicals generated and released into our bodies result from our bodies trying to heal healthily.
We all cry—some more than others.
When we first came out of the wombs, the first sounds we made were a result of us crying.
Babies cry expressingly and arbitrarily. Babies cry and weep all the time. Their cries are callouts when they experience dismay, hurt, pain, hunger, and discomfort.

Just because we grow up does not mean we stop crying. Generally speaking, we should cry out more often than we do.
When we all die, the last sound we make, whether aloud or silently, will be a result of us crying.
Most people find that crying generates red and puffy eyes, facial wrinkles, and fine lines.
Crying is one of the most precious methods that help show and prove that humans are living or gaining life experiences.
More importantly, crying is a sign that humans also feel life as a result of being alive.
When you cry, you take your body through the most natural healing processes. You allow your tears to be an escapism that releases positive and negative emotions, displayed for the world to see.
You allow your body and brain the opportunity to heal from stress and anxiety-related hormones and other [ill]feelings.
I beg of you to cry. Cry, my children. Feel life. Allow life to spill out onto the surfaces of your face.
Cry when you are happy and even when you are sad. Never be too embarrassed to cry. Never be too self-conscious to weep. Weeping is a part of life. Never suppress your emotions for the benefit of others, as it will result in self-defeat and punishment.

Cry.
Cry as long as you want.
Cry as hard as you need to.
Cry for no reason.
Cry for various reasons.
Cry from the heart.
Cry silently, proudly, and loudly.
Our healing starts from within. Therefore, crying cannot be avoided.
Just cry – but cry unapologetically because one thing is for sure: no one ever runs out of tears.
